WHAT IS THE TOLERANCE FAIR ALL ABOUT?
At the Tolerance Fair, you will see over 100 charity and advocacy groups, all with the following goals
- Show the importance of understanding people's differences
- Highlight ways in which people can make a difference by giving back to their community
- Highlight resources available to people who need help to manage their differences
- Showcase that Northeast Ohio is filled with cities inspired to create tolerant and accepting living environments
FAIR SCHEDULE
Doors to the Tolerance Fair will open at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
The schedule for the fair is as follows:
Fair hours: 2:00pm - 7:00pm
Interactive activities: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Tables open: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
The Tolerance and Acceptance theater will have the following performances running throughout the day featuring:

SPEAKERS

Kyle Maynard is a motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur and athlete. Despite being born with arms that end at the elbows and legs near the knees, Kyle's wrestled for one of the best teams in the Southeast, set records in weightlifting, fought in mixed martial arts, and most recently became the first man to crawl on his own to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
His story has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, ESPN's Sportscenter, HBO's Real Sports, ABC's 20/20 and Good Morning America, and as a cover story in USA Today. He continues to inspire as the author of his book, No Excuses (2005), a New York Times bestseller.

BVU is a national model organization that has trained and matched over 2,275 business executives and professionals on the boards of more than 480 nonprofits. In addition, BVU provides consulting and information services to over 150 businesses annually. BVU also provides education and training, volunteer referral and organizational consulting services to over 850 nonprofit organizations annually.Ms. Voudouris provides consulting, training, management assistance, and executive coaching services to strengthen the governance and management of nonprofit organizations. Ms. Voudouris provides consulting services to businesses to establish and enhance strong community involvement and programs.
Ms. Voudouris serves on the boards of Laurel School and The Campus International School. She has also served on the boards of The Bright Side of the Road Foundation, The Center for Prevention of Domestic Violence, The Cleveland Art Association, and a founding member of the Tributaries, a Friends committee of the Chagrin River Land Conservancy.
Ms. Voudouris has a Master of Arts in history from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

Lucene Wisniewski, PhD, FAED is Clinical Director and co-founder of the Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. Her research and clinical interests include using empirically founded treatments to inform clinical programs. She provides workshops on the CBT and DBT treatment of eating disorders internationally and publishes in peer reviewed journals as well as invited book chapters. Dr. Wisniewski has been elected fellow and has served on the board of directors of the Academy for Eating Disorders; she currently is co-leader of AEDs Borderline Personality Disorder special interest group.A Friendship Adventure with Ronald McDonald

The Horvitz YouthAbility program serves disabled and at-risk youth by engaging them in volunteer service, vocational activities, and social enrichment.
